A finger percussion. After drinking up a can of beer, i happily tap my fingers on the empty aluminum can. At835st to audio-interface via fp24. Ms-decoding by logic pro.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

(used in a production of sideways stories from wayside school - a sound that scares the children, but then when we see the shopping cart we realize what it is) created by recording a shopping cart with some stuff in it going down a step. One of a series of recordings of me snapping my fingers. I've recorded myself finger snapping with one, two, and three fingers. These work nicely for certain kinds of ui buttons, and they might sound great as hand percussion in a music track. Recorded with a tascam dr-40x.

This is the sound of the most crowded traffic lights in beşiktaş. After pressing the button to cross the road the robot never stops saying 'plase wait' and 'please cross now'. The sound was recorded with iphone 5.

My desk lamp makes a good lamp humming noise, so i recorded it. Enjoy!. Akg 414, cardioid setting, 40hz roll off. Room noise miinimized in post with izotope rx7.

This is a piece i put together using maestro for android. It took me about 90 minutes to do. If you haven't heard of this app, you need to take a look at it if you are a musician. The voices are pretty good in the free version (which i used for this), but i've read that the premium voices are better. Still, some of the free ones are really good. Use this piece as you want, but i would appreciate credit for it if you're going to post the work you do. Please leave comments on anything i've done here.

The beautiful sounds of office life. This is audible interference from a cheap ballast in a florescent light fixture--or several in close proximity. (it's probably violating fcc regulations with rf output too. ) this was recorded with an iphone builtin mic, then processed to isolate the sound. It's a beeping / humming at around 3,800 hz. Each beep lasts about 1 second, followed by a half-second of silence before the next beep. Toward the end of this recording, it shifts slightly upward in pitch, to around 4,000 hz. Some typing on a keyboard can be heard in the foreground. (it's an office, after all. ).

A torch is lit with a matchbox and then blown out by a sudden wind. This is a combination of public domain noises i put together.
